We went to my aunt Lori's house last night for dinner. We played games and laughed our butts off....of course! We always have so much fun. To our surprise, Jason, Lori, Jen, Tony and the kids were all in town.

Tiffany looked so darn cute in her hat. I look taller than her for once. haha

Thanksgiving Weekend!

Thanksgiving with my family is always amazing. The table is always filled with candles, wine glasses and delicious food. It is tradition to go around the table before eating and say what we are thankful for. It's always very emotional and really brings the spirit. Im always a little nervous when it's my turn because it's impossible for me to hold back the tears. The whole family was in town this year and we all had so much fun.

Later that night my uncle Jason got out his guitar and sang for us. This is a HUGE deal because we haven't heard him sing in probably 15 years or something crazy like that. He used to be in a band and we all loved to watch him perform. He is such a great entertainer!

This weekend we all stayed at the Midway house. We played ping pong (I suck! haha), card games and then out of nowhere, my aunt comes flying down the stairs in a sleeping bag. Then everyone started doing it while Jason strummed his guitar really fast to the sound of the stairs. We couldn't stop laughing. It was such a fun weekend! My family is the BEST! :)

Good Things Utah!!!

Today Tiffany and I went to be in the audience at Good Things Utah. I absolutely LOVE Nicea, Reagan, Angie and Marti and have watched there show for several years so I couldn't get the smile off my face when they walked into the studio. They are all so beautiful in person!!! We took some fun pictures with them after the show.

Marti had to leave early and Reagan ran off at first so we took some pictures with Nicea and Angie.

Nicea's "silly" face ended up looking more sexy so we all did a sexy pose after...

Tiffany and I went and found Reagan so we could get a picture of all the girls. I thought Reagan was beautiful on TV but she is seriously breathtaking in person.

Last day at work...

Today was my last day at work so I took a few pictures. This is me and Gwen. Gwen is the new receptionist taking my place. We became really good friends while I was training her.

This is the poor bike that I sent off-roading one day while delivering mail. I broke the handle bar off and glued it back on. This is Ken "acting" like he is so sad about it. haha Goof ball!

Gwen was a Geisha. She looked sooo pretty! Her hair is down to her butt and she had it all wrapped up into a bun.

Sterling was dressed up as some kind of butt rocker and these were all of his real clothes. Haha. The mulett is just too cool!

If you haven't read Breaking Dawn then don't look at this post. I don't want to ruin anything for you..... Im serious..... Ok Jake and I dressed up as Newborn Bella and Edward for Halloween. I had red contacts and a brown wig, Jake had butterscotch contacts and bronze hair (it ended up being more of a flaming red...oops) and we both had disgustingly pale skin. I actually got sick the morning of this party and the dress I was supposed to wear ripped down the side and the back was coming undone so I ended up just wearing a black dress. Anyways, these pictures are hilarious and so super ugly of me but I thought I'd give you all a laugh.... here ya go!


My cousin Tiffany dressed up as Victoria and she looked so HOT! She had leaves in her hair, red eyes and blood smeared all over her. My cousin Madison was Dorothy, Taylor was the Tin Man, my uncle Mat was the Scarecrow and my beautiful aunt Lori sure made an UGLY wicked witch. haha. My grandpa was dressed in leather with a fake mustash and long hair and my grandma was his dead biker chick! Ally bean was a little witch and Joey was...umm... Richard Simmons. No just kidding, but he was wearing an afro wig and short shorts. It was so funny!



My uncle Cal, aunt Tori, cousin Brianna and Broox were all Twilight Style Vampires and Zander was a muscular little hulk. So cute! Here is a cool picture of all of them decked out as vampires!

Big Changes...

At the beginning of this month I gave my boss my notice. My last day of work will be October 30th. I've decided to go back to school full time-EEK! I'm scared out of my mind to not have my income but I know that it's the smart thing to do. I am going to school at Cameo for Esthetics and I am getting my masters license. I start school on November 4th and should finish May 29th. Only 7 short months and I will be working in a spa doing microdermabrasion, laser hair removal and body wraps and hopefully making great money. I can't wait!

On Friday my boss hired the new receptionist to take my place in two week. She starts training with me bright and early Monday morning. I felt like I was going to burst into tears at any moment. The people I work with are my second family and I'm so sad to leave them. Im sure I will come up with excuses to stop by and see them though. :)

Whose temper is worse? Mine :) Jake is so chill! I love that about him.
Who pays the bills? I take care of all the bills. I have to tell him how much money we have in savings and checking account or he would never know.
Who drives when together? Jake does. It kills me when the girl drives and the guy is in the passenger seat. It is too funny!
Who is the first to admit when wrong? Jake always. I am so stubborn.
Who wears the pants in the family? Eeek...I like to think that I do but I think we are actually even. That is how it should be.
Who mows the lawn? If we had a lawn it would be Jake.
Who kissed who first? It was mutual. Gah! That was such a good first kiss!
What is my favorite thing about him? Well he is my perfect match in every way. He is so genuine, respectful, honest, loving and sweet!

New York: Day One

On our first day in New York we grabbed breakfast at Duncan Donuts and literally ate on the street on our way to catch the double decker tour bus. While on the “Uptown Loop” we walked through Central Park and down the first half of 5th Avenue.

This is the Conservatory Garden where some of "Enchanted" was filmed. This is where many wealthy people have their wedding and receptions.


Of course we had to stop at FAO Schwartz Toy Store for the famous floor piano! That was one of my favorite things! If you've seen the movie "BIG" you'd understand. haha
That night on the subway we hit “rush hour” where bodies were very tightly crammed onto every train. Warning: Do not take train between the hours of 7 and 10 in the morning or 4 and 7 at night. Got it! Needless to say we never made that mistake again. :)

New York: Day Two

Our second day in New York we took the “Downtown Loop” which includes Times Square and SoHo where we did some shopping. Then we went to China Town and Little Italy.
The Flat Iron building was really amazing!
The Manhattan Temple right smack in the middle of everything. Pretty crazy!
