Lake Powell

Over the 4th of July weekend we went down to Lake Powell with Jake's good friend Chad. It was my first time to Powell and my first time staying on a houseboat, which was enormous! We had such a blast!

We went down to the Marina to watch fireworks. Check out this houseboat with the helicopter on top. Crazy! :)

THIS IS ASPEN...

I absolutely fell in love with her this weekend. She has these crystal blue eyes that look just like Jake's and she followed me around everywhere. I would only be so lucky to have a daughter exactly like her. Needless to say, she made me SO baby hungry!!!

Easter Dress up!

On Easter we all decided to dress up and see if everyone could guess who we were. Me and Tiffany dressed up as my grandparents. I was my grandpa and Tiffany was my grandma. The polka dotted dress gave her the funniest pooch in the front from the pleates! haha Don't ask me what is going on with my face. I was trying to do my grandpas closed mouth smile. haha

Jen and my grandma then came out dressed as Ellie and Ally. Jen looks like Angelica from Rugrats. The diaper kills me!! Her tiny little legs. haha






Last but not lease Jake and Joey came out dressed as two women and I am officially scarred! Jake creeped me out so bad! He was totally digging himself as a girl. haha Joey with his short gray wig is priceless!

Spoof...

I saw this Twilight Spoof awhile back and I just have to share it with all of you! Most of it is hilarious but the last minute and a half is pretty dumb. Enjoy!

Our new car!

We finally got everything taken care of with the car situation. We bought our new car a few days ago and were really excited to return our fish bowl of a rental car. ;) We've wanted an Acura TL for awhile now and we are really happy we found what we wanted...just in the nick of time! :) Here are a couple pictures. Not so Merry Christmas...

On our way home on Christmas night Jake and I got in an accident. We were on the freeway when we hit some water and started to hydroplane. We swerved back and forth a few times and then our car flipped around facing the wrong direction and we hit the cement barecade. We just found out that the car is totaled. Right now we are driving a rental. Our insurance just paid off our loan and are sending us a check for the remaining amount. We are in a big hurry to buy another car because as soon as we get the check, we have to return the rental and are left with no car at all. This will probably be the only time I am in NO hurry to get a check in the mail. :) Anyway, we are both ok and that is the most important thing!

We went to my aunt Lori's house last night for dinner. We played games and laughed our butts off....of course! We always have so much fun. To our surprise, Jason, Lori, Jen, Tony and the kids were all in town.

Tiffany looked so darn cute in her hat. I look taller than her for once. haha

Thanksgiving Weekend!

Thanksgiving with my family is always amazing. The table is always filled with candles, wine glasses and delicious food. It is tradition to go around the table before eating and say what we are thankful for. It's always very emotional and really brings the spirit. Im always a little nervous when it's my turn because it's impossible for me to hold back the tears. The whole family was in town this year and we all had so much fun.

Later that night my uncle Jason got out his guitar and sang for us. This is a HUGE deal because we haven't heard him sing in probably 15 years or something crazy like that. He used to be in a band and we all loved to watch him perform. He is such a great entertainer!

This weekend we all stayed at the Midway house. We played ping pong (I suck! haha), card games and then out of nowhere, my aunt comes flying down the stairs in a sleeping bag. Then everyone started doing it while Jason strummed his guitar really fast to the sound of the stairs. We couldn't stop laughing. It was such a fun weekend! My family is the BEST! :)
