Times Square was so much fun to see in person. There is so much to look at.

We ate at Lombardi's (New York's first pizzeria) while in Little Italy. Fresh Mozzarella and Basil Pizza with Root Beer…Now that’s a good meal!!
That night we headed to the Bronx to see a Yankees game and the new stadium right across the street. It was pretty cool to see a game at the original Yankee Stadium.

Then on the way back to our hotel I was nearly squashed like a bug between the closing doors on the subway. Good Times! :) We spotted Red Mango as soon as we stepped off the subway so we had to stop for some frozen yogurt. Delicious!

New York: Day Three

The day started out really rainy and foggy (hence the umbrella). But once we got to the ferry the rain stopped, the sky cleared up and it ended up being a beautiful warm day.

Here we are...way down at the very bottom. Can you see us? :)
This picture was originally really foggy but thanks to Photoshop, it looks like a beautiful view.
Here is Lady Liberty's very large foot. She has some long toes like somebody else I know....
We were just leaving Liberty Island on the ferry on our way to Ellis Island.

As we were walking through the city I spotted this little place called Samantha's Trattoria. Very cute! The Statue of Liberty was incredible. In one of these pictures you can see how large just her face is compared to us. (She's kind of manly looking. :p)

After seeing The Statue of Liberty, we took the ferry to Ellis Island (Museum to American immigration. See Hitch).

From one angle this was the American Flag and from another angle it was people's faces. Pretty cool!

We went to the Gershwin Theater on Broadway to see “Wicked” that night. AH! That was my favorite part of the whole trip. If you ever get the chance to see Wicked, don’t pass it up!

We had already been to Times Square during the day but we went back to Broadway see Wicked. I was excited to see it at night all lit up!!!

After that we headed to Club Marquee and danced the night away! Kit was gettin' down! ;)
