Jarred Layne Phillips July 31, 1981- July 17, 2010.

I truly understand what it means to have a heavy heart. I feel like mine weighs a thousand pounds and is going to burst right through my chest. I've felt true and intense pain in my life but I think this heartache outdoes it all. Every second memories of him flash through my mind and so many regrets assault me. Jarred was so funny, loving, compassionate, forgiving and had a bigger than life personality. I can't stand the thought that I'll never hear his voice or see his face again in this life. He left behind three children that he fought so hard for and worked so hard to prove he could be a good daddy. He loved them so much. But drugs can take hold of you and take everything away.

I know he is happy to be with Scotty again and I imagine he is now everything he was always meant to be. I know he now understands it all, everything he went through and was meant to experience in this life. I hope his death will teach many, maybe even save a life one day.

Jake and I just booked a much needed 7 day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean at the end of April. Our stops include:

I am so excited for this stop because my Grandpa is from here!

Now that I am done with school and making money again Im excited to start towards some new goals in 2010 which are:

Travel, Travel, Travel! Anywhere & Everywhere--Starting with Seattle in June!

Become an expert on my new sewing machine

Work at a job I love--Im starting to understand how important this one really is!!!

Run a 5K. Eventually running a marathon

Pay off my school loan--such a bugger :(

Save, Save, Save--Saving money is always a MUST! :)

Be brave!

And although this is going to contradict this list I want to live more in the moment and stop always looking toward the future. :)

July 22nd marks 3 years since our wedding day!--

It feels like I've never known a day in this life without Jake and in the same breath it feel like time just flew by. I guess that's the way it feels when you marry your soulmate.

3 years ago was one of the happiest days of my life & still today I've never felt happier or more in love!
